Final cut express Sin City effect

'Sin City' Effect

In addition to my first failures with final cut express. I was interested in creating good and believable effects to include into our film. As I am new to final cut express I resorted to www.youtube.com to give me a helping hand. Here I found many great effects we could include in our film.

When I first saw the film 'Sin city' I was amazed by the use of black and white but with the use of some colouring. This made me want to be able to make this effect possible in final cut express. Here is the link to the "Final cut express 4 tutorial- 'Sin City' effect".



This has now made it possible for me to make this effect. This also allows us as a team to make our film more interesting as well as adding emphasis onto a certain area without the use of a different soundtrack.
