 5 films and their opening credits

Blow: The film begins with New Line Cinema being shown it is then followed by New Line Cinema presents a Spanky pictures. Apostle production. The credits are shown onto a black background to begin with, where you can hear someone shouting in a foreign language in the background which is then followed by two gun shots. This shows the audience that the film plays a part from a foreign country where it is dangerous as people have guns. It is then shown that this is a Ted Demme film which is then followed by the lead actors name Johnny Depp. Following on from this is where the title is shown 'Blow' which is shaded with the United States flag which indicates to the audience where the film is based. The black background is then changed in a jump cut to a sky view where 'based on a true story' is shown in bold black serif font. The camera then moves downwards to show a forested area where we can see people working. Only when we get to the medium shot at ground level can we see what the people in the forested area are doing. This soon helps to show the audience what the film is about and where it all originates from. The camera soon close ups on the people working on the fields, this then shows the lead actress Penelope Cruz along with other story actors names. We are then shown trucks being driven but with men holding guns guarding them, this tells the audience that this is conducted in a hostile area along with also showing us what is created by the people working on the fields. As the story continues, bags are shown to be loading onto a truck where we are then told who the casting was by, the costume designer, the music supervisor, who developed the music, the editor, the production designer, the director of photography, the executive producers, who it was produced by. As these credits are being shown we are also shown further into the story as now the bags from the trucks are being loaded onto a plane. As the plane takes off we are told that this film is "based in the book by Bruce Porter" and when it is landing we are told who the writers of the film are. The story is then shown with the bags being lifted onto another truck to an apartment building where we are told who the directed is who also part of the producers "Ted Demme".

Phone booth: The film begins with 20th Century Fox being shown which is then followed by a song being played which mentions 'operator give me information' this tells the audience that the film is about or at least involves a phone booth. During this song being played we are shown the camera moving through thick dark clouds which really sets the mood for the film and tells us that something dark and mysterious will happen. Also we are told the Fox 2000 pictures presents the title 'Phone booth'. The camera then exits the clouds to shown space, then suddenly a satellite passes past quickly. The camera then zooms into the Earth, zooming onto America particularly New York this really sets the scene well for the film as now the audience now know where it is set and what it may involve.

Fight club: The films begins also with 20th Century Fox being shown which is then followed by Regency, Fox 2000 pictures and regency enterprises present a Linson films production and a David Fincher film. During this there is a fast passed music in the background which tells the audience that this is a quick moving film that you have to think a lot about. This is then followed by the lead actors names "Brad Pitt" and "Edward Norton". Forwarding this comes the lead actresses name Helena Banham Carter. Then the title Fight club is introduced when the music in the background goes louder and into a higher pitched noise. The credits then tell us that meat loaf is pictured in the film also after this Jared Leto is then in the credits however it is not stated that either of them are guest appearances. We are then shown who the casting was by, the costume designer, who did the special make up effects supervisor, the sound designer, who produced the music, who the film editor was, the production designer, the director of photography, the executives producers. We are then told that this film is based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk, who did the screen play, who the producers were and finally who directed the film.

Hitman: We are first shown 20th Century Fox which is then followed by 20th Century Fox presents, a europacorp production, a Charles Gardon/Adrian Askarieh production. We are then shown the title of the film where the camera zooms to it to make it bigger. The 'T' of the title Hitman is shown as two pistols which tells the audience that this film involves guns and that the main character leads a dangerous life. We are then told the main actors Timothy Olyphant and Dougray Scott. Following on from this is the lead actress Olga Kurylenko, and other lead actors. During all of the introductions of the actors is shown a piece of the story after each actors credits has been shown. This tells the audience little pieces about the film before the main plot has begun. We are then shown who the casting was by, the costume designer, who did the special make up effects supervisor, the sound designer, who produced the music, who the film editor was, the production designer, the director of photography, the executives producers. We are then told that this film is based on the Edios game "Hitman" and who it was written and directed by.

Outlaw:  The film is introduced with Pathe, then by Ingenious, and Vertigo films. Then it shows us that Pathe productions presents in association with Ingenious film partners, a Vertigo film production that is a Nick Love film. We are then shown who the main actors are such as "Sean Bean, Danny Dyer, Lennie James, Sean Harris, Rupert Friend and Bob Hoskins. This is then followed by the title of the film Outlaw. During the opening sequence the song 'Puppy love' is played which shows to the audience that the beginning scenes of the film will incorporate two people in love.
