We have researched many different thriller films and thriller websites using trailers, such as youtube. We found out that the majority of people statistically who watch thriller films are males ranging from 18 to 64 year olds. For example the film trailer for 'No country for old men' gave us the statistics that 25 to 64 year olds watch thriller films.
In addition to this we found that 13 to 17 year old females also viewed the trailers we researched.
This shows that there are more male viewers of thriller films than there are female. This also shows that there is a wider range of female viewers even though they are less in number.
