Zombieland: The film begins with a tilted handheld camera shot, which moves upright and then looks around, creating the impression it is a cam-recorder, while this is happening there is a narration form the films lead actor Jessie Eissenberg. There is then an aerial shot of a special effects earth, still with the narration from Jessie Eissenberg. The film then goes on to list a list of rules the character follows: 'CARDIO', 'DOUBLE TAP', 'BEWARE OF BATHROOMS' 'SEATBELTS'. The film then cuts to a clip of a zombie throwing a prison guard over the side of a prison, with 'Columbia Pictures presents' set into the clip, this shows that Columbia Pictures owns the film. It then cuts to a clip of a zombie throwing up blood, with 'In Association with Relativity Media' which shows they were part of the film by the use of synergy. It then cuts to s clip of a zombie chasing a woman, with 'A Pariah Production' which shows that Pariah Pictures were the ones that produced the film. It then cuts to a clip showing a main actors name 'Woody Harrelson' which is using 'start factor', it then cuts to a clip showing 'Jessie Eissenburgs' name, lead actor, but was not first on the credits due to Woody Harrelson being more famous, it then mentions 'Emma Stone' the lead actress in the same clip as Eissenburg. It then cuts to a clip which says 'and Abigail Breslin'. There is then a clip showing the film's title 'ZOMBIELAND'. Then it cuts to clips showing 'Casting Director- John Papsidera', 'Costume Designer- Magali Guidasci', 'Music by- David Sardy', 'Edited by- Peter Amundson, Alan Baumgarten', 'Production Designer- Maher Ahmed', 'Director of Photography- Michael Bonvillain', 'Executive Producers- Ezra Swerdlow, Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese, Ryan Kavanaugh', 'Produced by- Gavin Polone', 'Written by- Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick', 'Directed by- Ruben Fleischer'. The Credits and opening scene then end with a zombie flying into a car windshield, smashing the name ‘Ruben Fleischer’ along with it.
Reservoir Dogs: The film begins with all the main characters sitting around a table, getting up and starting to leave, and a narration starting, the screen then goes blank for a few seconds the narration continuing, then music comes in as ‘A Film By Quentin Tarantino’ appears. The scene then cuts to the characters walking down a street, as the narration stops, and the music gets louder. It then cuts to a sequence of close up shots showing the actors faces and says their name in each shot in sequence, ‘Harvey Keitel, ‘Michael Madsen’, ‘Chris Penn’, ‘Steve Buscemi’, ‘Lawrence Tierney’, ‘Eddie Bunker’, ‘Quentin Tarantino’, ‘and Tim Roth’. There is then a shot from behind of them walking, with the word ‘are’ at the bottom of the shot, the title of the film ‘RESIVOUIR DOGS’ climbs up the screen. It then goes blanks again, and other actor’s names scroll up the screen ‘Randy Brooks’, ‘Kirk Baltz’, ‘Rick Tuner’, ‘and the voice of Steven Wright’. Then it states ‘Casting by- Ronnie Yeskel’, ‘Music Supervisor- Karyn Ratchman’, ‘Costume Designer- Betsy Heimann’, ‘Editor- Sally Menke’, ‘Production Designer- David Wasco’, it is here when you hear crys of pain sounds, ‘Director of Photography- Andrzej Sekula’, ‘Co-Producer- Harvey Keitel’, the music starts to trail off, ‘Executive Producers- Richard N. Gladstein, Ronna B. Wallace, and Monte Hellman’, ‘Produced by- Lawrence Bender’. The end of the scene shows Tim Roth in the back of a car bleeding to death.
12 Monkeys: The film begins with ‘Universal Pictures and Atlas-Classico Present’ being shown, it then says ‘An Atlas Entertainment Production’. It then goes to a piece of text explaining the story behind the films background. There is then a spinning picture a monkey’s, with text coming across the screen, in order: ‘A Terry Gilliam Film’, ‘Bruce Willis’, ‘Madeleine Stowe’, ‘Brad Pitt’, and then the film’s title appears ‘Twelve Monkeys’
Lord of War: The film begins with a view of a factory, with a backing-track of ‘For What It’s Worth by Buffalo Springfield’. Then the name ‘Nicolas Cage’ (lead actor) appears, we then see that they are manufacturing bullets, as the title of the film appears on the screen, following this one bullet another actors name ‘Jared Leto’ is shown. Still following this one bullet other actor’s names appear on the screen, ‘Bridget Moynahan’, ‘Ian Holm’, Eamonn Walker’, ‘Sammi Rotibi’, ‘Eugene Lazarev’, ‘Jean-Pierre Nshanian’, ‘Shake Toukhmanian’, ‘and Ethan Hawk’.
