Preliminary task
There is many ways you can film this preliminary task using the match on action technique. This filming technique is where you skip from one bit to another usually to save time, for example when someone starts walking up the stairs, the next camera shot skips to when they have reached the top of the stairs.
For the task, there is many different ways we could do it. However we opted to choose and use a lift. This would show the actor walking towards the lift and entering it and then the next shot would be the actor leaving the lift.
The diagram below shows us how this would work.

Also in the task we have some dialogue between two characters, this bit of dialogue has to be filmed using the 180 degree rule. The 180 degree rule just helps stop the audience from getting confused, the rule states the camera should always have the same right/left relationship with each other.
