Conculsions from target audience research

From the research we did on target audiences for thriller films, I have seen that because the film ‘Dark Knight’ appeared frequently in our surveys results  in our opening scene we should consider using a dark feeling and a sense of mystery , as ‘Dark Knight’ has a very dark and mysterious themes running through it. As the film ‘Inception’ also appeared in our results frequently, it would be a good idea to include themes from a physiological thriller. I have also deduced that because people like plot twists, cliff-hangers, and suspense, it would be a good idea to try and include these in our scene. We also found that everyone that voted chose technology to be an important part of a Thriller film, and therefore we should consider looking at a film such as the Matrix to gain an understanding of what to put in our scene.
